There will be 3 preliminary rounds to the Battle of The Bands Competition:
December 18, 2009
January 15, 2010
February 19, 2010
And the Finale on March 19, 2010 which will showcase the winner of each preliminary round on the same bill.
There is a $100 prize for each preliminary round and a private party for the band at the Pachyderm Mansion.
Every band will be given 200 Promotion Cards which the band will use to promote themselves in the Battle.
Each band has the potential to be compensated $200 for their show - whether or not they win the round!
The prize package for the winner of the Finale will include:
- $500 Cash Prize plus the $200 potential payment from the Promotion Cards.
- Recording time at Pachyderm Recording Studios in Cannon Falls, MN.
- One track placement on the annual Pachyderm Studio Compilation CD for 2010.
- Future headlining performance at Buster's Bar and additional booking opportunity through Full Moon Productions.
